Fumo — Vertical Fil-à-Fil in Grey
A soft light ash grey — refined, evening-toned, with the quiet authority of considered shirting. The vertical fil-à-fil weave creates fine tonal ribs running top to bottom: same colour, same yarn, alternating just enough in fibre direction to catch light differently. Reads as solid; wears as textured.
Sourced from Celesto, an Italian mill that specializes in fine cotton sateen. Super 200s 2-Ply means the threads are drawn finer than human hair and twisted in pairs — denser, deeper, longer-lasting than standard premium cotton. The slight satin finish gives Fumo its name: a soft smoky luminosity that catches evening light without demanding it.
