Latte — Vertical Fil-à-Fil
A soft warm dull white — not bright, not stark, but quietly substantial. The vertical fil-à-fil weave creates fine tonal ribs running top to bottom: same colour, same yarn, alternating just enough in fibre direction to catch light differently. Reads as solid; wears as textured.
Sourced from Celesto, an Italian mill that specializes in fine cotton sateen. Super 200s 2-Ply means the threads are drawn finer than human hair and twisted in pairs — denser, deeper, longer-lasting than standard premium cotton. The slight satin finish gives Latte its name: a soft creamy luminosity at evening distance.
Every Latte shirt is fully handstitched in our workshop — 14+ hours of pure handwork. Pairs naturally with its sister cloth Fumo, the same weave structure in light ash grey, for a quietly considered Reserve duo.
