Attila Hun
A fully handstitched wingtip single monk in a bright hand-burnished Punch Pink calf. A subtle scalloped seam sweeps from the toe cap to the throat — wingtip architecture without the brogueing — and closes across the vamp with a polished silver square buckle. Cherry-red calfskin lined. Cut, lasted, and stitched by hand at our atelier.
The Punch Pink Patina & the Kuban 305
The Attila Hun rests on the Kuban 305 last — a long, closed Italian dress last with a soft almond toe and a low instep. It is a single-monk-strap wingtip cut from a single piece of hand-patinated calf. No brogue perforations, no wingtip contrast — the wingtip architecture is drawn only in seam, letting the colour do the whole talking.
The Punch Pink patina is built up in successive hand-applied glazes — a bright fuchsia at the vamp and quarters, deepened toward a burgundy-magenta at the counter and toe periphery, sealed under wax for a glossy dimensional shine. Across the throat, a single leather strap crosses on the diagonal and closes with a polished silver square buckle.
The interior is fully lined in cherry-red calfskin — a signature flash of colour visible at the mouth. Goodyear-welted onto a hand-burnished walnut-edge leather sole with cream twisted-thread stitching along the welt.
