Henri
A fully handstitched wingtip chukka boot in hand-burnished Sandstone Tan calf and matching suede. A smooth calf wingtip wraps the toe and heel counter; suede fills the quarters and side panels — the two textures reading in the same warm tan. A hand-punched four-diamond medallion sits alone on the quarter as the shoe's quiet signature. Warm caramel-tan calfskin lined. Cut, lasted, and stitched by hand at our atelier.
The Wingtip Chukka & the Trinity 10
The Henri rests on the Trinity 10 last — a French dress last with a slightly rounded almond toe and enough volume through the forefoot to sit under trousers or a mid-length denim. It is a three-eyelet chukka boot, cut ankle-high, with a soft leather pull-tab at the heel — the half-boot silhouette that pairs with everything from wool suiting to raw indigo.
The upper is a two-material study in the same colour. A hand-burnished smooth Sandstone Tan calf wingtip wraps the toe and continues back as the heel counter; the quarters and side panels are cut in matching Sandstone Tan suede, brushed to a soft nap that catches light against the polished calf. Where the two materials meet, a raised seam is topstitched in tone-on-tone thread — a quiet transition that reads as a single object from across the room and reveals its layers only up close.
The four-diamond crosshair medallion is hand-punched into the calf panel behind the lacing on both sides — four small kite-shaped cutouts arranged in a compass rose around a central dot. It is the shoe's only decorative element and its signature. Lined throughout in warm caramel-tan calfskin. Goodyear-welted onto a hand-burnished natural leather sole with a dark walnut edge and cream twisted-thread stitching along the welt.
