Hugovick
A fully handstitched two-tone single monk in warm Sandstone Tan and deep Vanta Black polished calf. A wingtip toe cap in Sandstone Tan sweeps across the front of the shoe with dense hand-punched brogueing; Vanta Black quarters, heel counter, and monk strap wrap the rear. A large antique-brass buckle closes the strap. Cherry-red lined. Cut, lasted, and stitched by hand at our atelier.
The W-Seam Wingtip & the Tigris 07
The Hugovick rests on the Tigris 07 last — a sharp, elongated Italian dress last with an almond toe and a closed instep. It is a single-monk-strap wingtip full-brogue — the most decorated silhouette in our shoe range, cut into two contrasting materials of the same weight of full-grain calf.
The front of the shoe — the toe cap and the entire vamp forward of the monk strap — is patinated in a warm hand-burnished Sandstone Tan. The rear — the quarters, heel counter, and the monk strap itself — is cut separately in a deep hand-burnished Vanta Black. Where the two colours meet at the strap line, a scalloped W-seam is decorated with dense hand-punched brogue perforations along both edges — a lace-thick decorative border that reads as the shoe's headline.
Across the throat, a single Vanta Black leather strap crosses on the diagonal and closes with a large warm antique-brass rectangular buckle — the shoe's defining hardware, warmer than the polished silver on our other monks. Lined throughout in bright cherry-red carmine calfskin, a warm flash visible at the throat opening. Goodyear-welted onto a hand-burnished walnut-edge leather sole with cream twisted-thread stitching visible along the entire welt.
